What to Expect
The Lakshadweep group sits on a chain of submerged atolls in the Arabian Sea, with steep walls dropping from the lagoon edge into thousands of metres of open water. The diving here is not a fun-dive holiday. It is a structured deep expedition with planned profiles, gas analysis the night before, and decompression run from reference lines.
We will go via ship to Kalpeni for a week. After that we head to Kavaratti, which will be our base for the next 2 weeks. From Kavaratti we will head to Kadmat and Suheli Par for some expedition-style diving, with the option to return to Kavaratti for a day of fun diving or to stay on the outer walls for the full week. The final week will be back in Agatti, with the option to do some fun diving on the lagoon reefs.
Sites Planned
The primary objectives are the outer walls of Kalpeni, Kadmat, Kavaratti and Suheli Par — all which drop steeply from the reef edge and offer multilevel profiles down to 80m and beyond on trimix. Visibility on these walls is consistently in the 30m range, and the water is warm enough that thermal protection is a comfort question, not a safety one.

Who Should Join
Minimum: Deep, Nitrox certified is a minimum with Trimix certification for the deeper profiles. You should be comfortable planning and running staged decompression dives independently. It is a guided expedition, but we will not be babysitting divers.
If you are at the edge of your certification or have not done deep trimix in the last twelve months, we will talk through the dives before you commit.
Reach out with your certifications, your last dozen logged dives, and any questions about the itinerary.
