What I Do

Technical Training

I train divers across the full spectrum — from first-time open water students to advanced technical divers working with trimix, rebreathers, and overhead environments. My courses are built on a foundation of physics, physiology, and methodical skill development.

Exploration Projects

I lead and participate in exploration diving projects across India and internationally — from cave systems and deep wrecks to open ocean research dives. Each project pushes the boundaries of what Indian divers can achieve.

Engineering

With a background in mechanical engineering from NIT Silchar and R&D experience at BHEL in CFD and turbine systems, I bring an analytical approach to dive planning, equipment configuration, and gas management.

Photography

Underwater photography is how I document expeditions and share the world below the surface. My work has been published in PADI, Outdoor Journal, Better India, and Moneycontrol.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe the best divers are the ones who understand why — not just what. Every course I teach is grounded in the science of diving: gas physics, decompression physiology, and equipment engineering. When students understand the principles, they make better decisions underwater.

I'm a TDI (Technical Diving International) and PADI instructor, certified to teach CCR (closed-circuit rebreather), Trimix, and cave diving courses.

I teach in India and lead expedition trips — including cave diving in the sump systems of East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya.
